Ron and I have been showing dogs since 1995 when we
started out with cocker spaniels. We became interested in the
Cavalier shortly after it was recognized by AKC that same year.
After looking for several years for a nice Cavalier girl, we were
fortunate to purchase a bitch from the famous kennel of Stonecroft
in TN. Megan, Stonecroft's Lady Wellington, has proven to be a
wonderful producer for us.
Since I have been retired for a number of years, I am able to spend
the majority of my time with the dogs in our home. Most days,
weather permitting, they play outside in my fenced areas. We also
have special play areas for the adult show dogs to help keep them
clean while they still enjoy exercise and play time. Cavaliers are
never too old to play.
We are active members of the AKC parent club for the breed, The
Carolina Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club, and the Piedmont Kennel
Club. In compliance with these clubs established breeding
recommendations, and more importantly, in an effort to improve the
longevity of the breed, our breeding stock are cleared by specialist
for Heart, Eye's, OFA Hips and Patella's.
If you are interested in owning a puppy or young adult, you should
know that all puppies are sold with spay/neuter agreements. Along
with each puppy you will receive a copy of his shot record, pictures
of parents along with copies of parents health tests. All puppies
are checked extensively by our vet several times before they are
allowed to leave for their new homes. We also provide an article on
housetraining and encourage you to use crate training methods to
train your new family member. If you think you would like to own a
Wellington Cavalier, or would just like more information on the
breed, please call or email us at 336-855-8391

I have had the privilege to show some lovely dogs for clients over the
past several years. I offer an in home environment with lots of
extras that many handlers cannot provide. I limit my number of dogs
that I travel with and show so that each gets the individual care
and attention they deserve. If you are interested in having your dog
evaluated for show please contact me to set up an appointment.
"Taylor" aka Ch Twickenham's Charmin Red Rougue is a lovely dog that
I showed to his championship. Taylor is owned by Mimi Hodges and
Ricky Perkins of Mimrick cavaliers in NC.
"Fiona" Ch Rokirk's Raffia. Bred by David Kirkland and Stephen
Roman, Fiona was a fun girl to show in the ring. Her attitude always
made the judges look at her and she finished easily. Fiona is owned
by Becky Dawson. She is now retired and living the good life in
Pinehurst NC.
Shown here winning a 5 pt major under Maxine Beam in Atlanta.
